Important patch applied to rsyslog in Debian 8 addresses two vulnerabilities in log message processing. Users are urged to perform upgrades for enhanced security.
It was discovered that there were two vulnerabilities in the rsyslog system/kernel logging daemon in the parsers for AIX and Cisco log messages respectfully
