Dist Fedora Esm H88
A recent security patch for Systemd on Fedora 25 implements multiple enhancements aimed at improving reliability and performance, enabling updates without the need for a system restart.
- systemd-detect-virt QEMU CPUID logic update - Fix rfkill on some thinkpads - Fix systemd-resolved DOS with crafted NSEC packets (LP#1725351) (No need to reboot.)

Summary

systemd is a system and service manager for Linux, compatible with

SysV and LSB init scripts. systemd provides aggressive parallelization

capabilities, uses socket and D-Bus activation for starting services,

offers on-demand starting of daemons, keeps track of processes using

Linux cgroups, supports snapshotting and restoring of the system

state, maintains mount and automount points and implements an

elaborate transactional dependency-based service control logic.
