Fedora 37 has been updated to resolve the c-ares buffer overflow vulnerability identified as CVE-2022-4904, with the fix incorporated in version 1.19.0.

Summary

c-ares is a C library that performs DNS requests and name resolves

asynchronously. c-ares is a fork of the library named 'ares', written

by Greg Hudson at MIT.

Update to 1.19.0. Fixes CVE-2022-4904.
