Fedora 38 FEDORA-2023-86dce75007 Low Severity Zchunk Update

fedora
Calendar Grey April 15, 2023
Dist Fedora Esm H88
The recent zchunk update in Fedora 38 rectifies minor issues while boosting file integrity with improved error management.
Fix several low severity security bugs.

Summary

zchunk is a compressed file format that splits the file into independent

chunks. This allows you to only download the differences when downloading a

new version of the file, and also makes zchunk files efficient over rsync.

zchunk files are protected with strong checksums to verify that the file you

downloaded is in fact the file you wanted.

Fix several low severity security bugs.
