It was discovered that NTFS-3G incorrectly handled certain image file.

An attacker could possibly use this issue to execute arbitrary code.

Update Instructions

The problem can be corrected by updating your system to the following
package versions:

Ubuntu 21.04:
  ntfs-3g                         1:2017.3.23AR.3-3ubuntu4.1

Ubuntu 20.04 LTS:
  ntfs-3g                         1:2017.3.23AR.3-3ubuntu1.1

Ubuntu 18.04 LTS:
  ntfs-3g                         1:2017.3.23-2ubuntu0.18.04.3

In general, a standard system update will make all the necessary changes.
