Cory Duplantis discovered a buffer overflow in the R programming langauage. A malformed encoding file may lead to the execution of arbitrary code during PDF generation.

For the upcoming stable distribution (stretch), this problem has been fixed in version 3.3.3-1. For the unstable distribution (sid), this problem has been fixed in version 3.3.3-1. We recommend that you upgrade your r-base packages.
