Fedora 27 FEDORA-2018-97c275d576 Critical Boost Libraries Fix

fedora
Calendar Grey April 27, 2018
Dist Fedora Esm H88
Recent modifications to Boost libraries enhance compatibility with CUDA and address an integer overflow problem in Boost.Regex specifically for Fedora 27.
Updated Boost libraries are available that fix compatibility with CUDA 9.x compilers and fix a possible integer overflow in Boost.Regex.

Summary

Boost provides free peer-reviewed portable C++ source libraries. The

emphasis is on libraries which work well with the C++ Standard

Library, in the hopes of establishing "existing practice" for

extensions and providing reference implementations so that the Boost

libraries are suitable for eventual standardization. (Some of the

libraries have already been included in the C++ 2011 standard and

others have been proposed to the C++ Standards Committee for inclusion

in future standards.)

Updated Boost libraries are available that fix compatibility with CUDA 9.x

compilers and fix a possible integer overflow in Boost.Regex.
