Ubuntu 22.04: UBUNTU-2023-c5f21d2b90 High: FontForge Security Flaw

The FreeType engine is a free and portable font rendering

engine, developed to provide advanced font support for a variety of

platforms and environments. FreeType is a library which can open and

manages font files as well as efficiently load, hint and render

individual glyphs. FreeType is not a font server or a complete

text-rendering library.

Update to freetype 2.12.1 which fixes CVE-2022-27404, CVE-2022-27405,

CVE-2022-27406 and adds support for OT-SVG fonts.
