The latest modifications to tcpdump rectify significant security flaws that might allow attackers to run unapproved programs or instigate a service outage within Fedora platforms.
If the victim uses tcpdump, attack could result in a denial of service, or possibly execute arbitrary code as the 'pcap' user.
