Mageia security update for graphite2 fixes integer underflow and out-of-bounds write vulnerabilities ensuring system integrity.
Mageia has released updated packages for versions 10 and 9 to fix a security vulnerability (CVE-2026-50593) in Graphite prior to 1.3.15, addressing an integer underflow issue.

Summary

Description: The updated packages fix a security vulnerability: Graphite before 1.3.15 has an integer underflow and resultant out-of-bounds write via Graphite actions, because slotat does not ensure that an offset is within the allowed slot-map range. (CVE-2026-50593)
