A critical patch for libxml2 resolves a major heap Use-After-Free vulnerability affecting both openSUSE versions 15.5 and 15.6.
An update that solves one vulnerability can now be installed.

Description

This update for libxml2 fixes the following issues:

* CVE-2025-7425: Fixed heap Use-After-Free in libxslt caused by atype

corruption in xmlAttrPtr (bsc#1246296)
