Important security patch rolled out for SquirrelMail to resolve multiple vulnerabilities. System upgrade highly advised to ensure optimal protection.
An updated squirrelmail package that fixes three security and many other bug issues is now available

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata relevant to your system have been applied.

This update is available via Red Hat Network. To use Red Hat Network, launch the Red Hat Update Agent with the following command:

up2date

This will start an interactive process that will result in the appropriate RPMs being upgraded on your system.

182579 - CVE-2006-0188 Possible XSS through right_frame parameter in webmail.php 182581 - CVE-2006-0195 Possible XSS in MagicHTML (IE only) 182584 - CVE-2006-0377 IMAP injection in sqimap_mailbox_select mailbox parameter
