Investigate critical details regarding the mopd-linux memory overflow vulnerability identified within Red Hat Power Tools.
A buffer overflow has been discovered in all releases of mopd-linuxincluded in the 6.0, 6.1, and 6.2 releases of Powertools.

Solution

For each RPM for your particular architecture, run:

rpm -Fvh [filename]

where filename is the name of the RPM.
