New perl packages are available for Slackware 13.1, 13.37, 14.0, and -current to fix a security issue
Summary
Here are the details from the Slackware 14.0 ChangeLog: patches/packages/perl-5.16.3-i486-1_slack14.0.txz: Upgraded. This update fixes a flaw in the rehashing code that can be exploited to carry out a denial of service attack against code that uses arbitrary user input as hash keys.
