Details:

It was discovered that GDK-PixBuf incorrectly handled certain JPEG files.

An attacker could use this issue to cause GDK-PixBuf to crash, resulting in

a denial of service, or possibly execute arbitrary code.

Update Instructions

The problem can be corrected by updating your system to the following
package versions:

Ubuntu 25.10
  libgdk-pixbuf-2.0-0             2.42.12+dfsg-5ubuntu0.1

Ubuntu 24.04 LTS
  libgdk-pixbuf-2.0-0             2.42.10+dfsg-3ubuntu3.3

Ubuntu 22.04 LTS
  libgdk-pixbuf-2.0-0             2.42.8+dfsg-1ubuntu0.5

In general, a standard system update will make all the necessary changes.
