A security issue affects these releases of Ubuntu and its derivatives: - Ubuntu 24.04 LTS - Ubuntu 22.04 LTS - Ubuntu 20.04 LTS - Ubuntu 18.04 LTS - Ubuntu 16.04 LTS Summary: Gross could be made to crash or to allow arbitrary code execution. Software Description: - gross: fast and efficient greylist server with DNSBL support Details: It was discovered that Gross incorrectly handled memory when composing log entries. An attacker could possibly use this issue to cause Gross to crash, resulting in a denial of service, or possibly execute arbitrary code.
