A security issue affects these releases of Ubuntu and its derivatives:

- Ubuntu 24.10
- Ubuntu 24.04 LTS
- Ubuntu 22.04 LTS
- Ubuntu 20.04 LTS
- Ubuntu 18.04 LTS

Summary:

Django could be made to crash if it received specially crafted network
traffic.

Software Description:
- python-django: High-level Python web development framework

Details:

It was discovered that Django incorrectly handled text wrapping. An
attacker could possibly use this issue to cause a denial of service.

Update instructions:

The problem can be corrected by updating your system to the following
package versions:

Ubuntu 24.10
   python3-django                  3:4.2.15-1ubuntu1.3

Ubuntu 24.04 LTS
   python3-django                  3:4.2.11-1ubuntu1.6

Ubuntu 22.04 LTS
   python3-django                  2:3.2.12-2ubuntu1.17

Ubuntu 20.04 LTS
   python3-django                  2:2.2.12-1ubuntu0.28

Ubuntu 18.04 LTS
   python-django                   1:1.11.11-1ubuntu1.21+esm10

In general, a standard system update will make all the necessary changes.
