Recently the Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT) announced that many implementations of the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) are susceptible to multiple remote vulnerabilities. More than 200 vendors implement this protocol in a manner that can be exploited.

EnGarde itself does not provide any implementation of the SNMP protocol and is therefore not vulnerable. It is highly recommended that vulnerable SNMP implementations on routers, printers, and other servers are disabled until they can be updated with patches provided by your vendor.
