RSA Security Inc., today announced that it is accepting nominations for its fourth annual RSA Security Awards. Designed to honor outstanding contributions in the field of cryptography, RSA Security Awards will be made to an individual or an organization in each of three categories: mathematics, industry and public policy. Three winners will be announced at RSA(R) Conference 2001 to be held April 8-12, 2001 in San Francisco, Calif.

"The RSA Security Award Program is designed to showcase the significant technical and public policy accomplishments that individuals and organizations have made to advance the field of cryptography," said Jim Bidzos, vice chairman of RSA Security and chairman of RSA Conference 2001. "We are extremely proud to sponsor this prestigious program, which has become a 'Who's Who' of cryptography and the e-security industry, and look forward to receiving an impressive list of nominations."
