Swedish security software vendor TFS Technology AB has added support for Linux to its identity and access management software, enabling migration to the open source operating system, it said.

The Uppsala, Sweden-based company, which acquired the client/server security products of RSA Security Inc in July 2002, has added support for Linux workstations to its TFS WorkstationControl and TFS ApplicationControl software.

This will enable users to centralize the administration of authentication across both Linux and Microsoft Corp Windows workstations, according to TFS, enabling co-existence of the two operating systems in mixed environments or to migrate to Linux workstations.
