USAToday.com's home page was altered by a computer intruder late Thursday night, according to the company. Normal news headlines were replaced with prankish items, such as "Another shocking ruling from the 9th Circuit Court - Pentagon Unconstitutional?" The intruders struck at 10:50 p.m. ET, and the prank was live for about 15 minutes, said USA Today spokesperson Steve Anderson.

Company employees noticed the altered content and took down the entire SAToday.com site, Anderson said. Everything was back to normal by 2 a.m. ET.
"This is the first time this has happened,"
Anderson said, noting USAToday.com has been in operation since 1995. He said seven separate pages on USAToday.com were hacked.
