A Reuters report said Pearson will coordinate Big Blue's privacy programs, including research and development, marketing, sales, Web strategy and technology and policy efforts. She will also oversee the development of IBM technology and service offerings for privacy and will ensure that the company complies with laws and standards as consumer privacy guidelines evolve.
