September 27, 2004 - (HostReview.com) - Trustix, the internet infrastructure specialists, today announced the launch of their dedicated web hosting appliance XserverTM CP+. The appliance runs on the security hardened, server optimized Linux distribution, Trustix OS and is remotely managed using the intuitive and user friendly control panel, Trustix CP+. Trustix see the new server as occupying the niche market left open by the discontinuation of Sun's Cobalt range.

The move is the latest in Trustix's program to integrate its secure operating system with the new generation of powerful and user-friendly control panels. Trustix feel that usability and transparency is essential if the Linux platform is to achieve the 29% share of the enterprise server market by 2008 that was predicted by recent IDC research.
