Computer hackers have broken into a state government website for the third time this year, exposing continued vulnerabilities in the state's digital security programs.. The latest incident occurred Saturday morning when a hacker breached a server used by the Iowa Department of Public Safety to issue Amber Alert bulletins involving child abduction cases. The hacker used the access at 8:18 a.m. to reissue an Amber Alert warning from February about a Council Bluffs teenager who was missing and later found safe.
