Mbedthis says AppWeb features a "modular, multi-threaded core," delivering excellent security, performance, and functionality in a small memory footprint. Required features can be selected at runtime for a memory footprint as low as 110K. AppWeb deploys an Apache-style configuration schema and supports scripting languages PHP, Perl, and Python, as well as server-side Java and Embedded Server Pages.
