An arbitrary command execution vulnerability in Evince for Gentoo may allow malicious actors to execute commands without authorization. It is recommended to update to the latest version.

A vulnerability was discovered in Evince's handling of filenames while printing PDF files.

Resolution

All Evince users should upgrade to the latest version: # emerge --sync # emerge --ask --oneshot --verbose ">=app-text/evince-3.24.2-r1"
