Recently we held a promotion for "The FreeBSD Corporate Networker's Guide" and it was the perfect opportunity to ask our visitors to share some thoughts, and, receive a free copy of the book. The question we asked was: "Whick OS do you think is the most secure and why?" We didn't even imagine the overwhelming response. We received 344 opinions, and it was hard to pick the top five. The conclusion of the survey is pretty interesting. Although 80% of the elaborated opinions stated BSD to be the most secure OS, we got only one person who thinks Linux is the most secure OS, while there are a dozen that think the same of Windows 2000 (All of them were sadly very short, so they had no chance to enter in the top five).
